The Circle of Life...

This past Friday night found the Honnold family seated in anticipation in a downtown Indianapolis theatre, waiting anxiously for the performance of a lifetime to begin. A dear family friend gave us a Christmas gift of tickets to the Broadway production of The Lion King musical. We sat in the Orchestra section, close enough to the stage to see the sweat reflect off the dancers bodies, close enough to nearly touch the elephant as it lumbered down the aisle, close enough to observe every facial gesture of the painted, costumed performers. It was an altogether breathtaking experience, and, although we couldn't take pictures of the performance, we could take pictures of our brochures! And that's nearly as exciting, right?

And we also photographically documented our reactions post-performance....

All in all, it was an amazing experience. (as our facial expressions so clearly convey:)
